Delete your account

You can delete your NearBlend account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app. No email, form or request to us is required.

How to delete your account

1. Open NearBlend and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

What may be retained, and for how long

We may retain a limited amount of information after deletion where the law requires it, or where it is necessary for safety:

• Safety reports made about your account are kept for audit and abuse-prevention purposes, for up to 12 months.
• Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the applicable law requires.

Everything else is deleted or de-identified within 30 days. Messages you sent may remain visible to the person who received them, in the same way an ordinary message does.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove something. These can be deleted individually, in the app, at any time:

Two things this list deliberately does not claim. Messages cannot be deleted one by one — a conversation belongs to both people, and they go when your account does. And Ghost Mode hides you from the map but is not deletion: it stops others seeing you while your account carries on working normally.

For anything not in that table, email support@nearblend.com from your registered address and tell us what you want removed. We will confirm within 7 days and complete it within 30 days. You do not have to give a reason.
